End User Licence Agreement

This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and LAS G Concept, Nigeria ("we", "us"). It covers the LAS Converter desktop app for Windows (LAS-Converter.exe), the LAS Converter Android app (com.lasconvert.app) and their updates (together, the "Software"). By installing, copying or using the Software you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. Licence
The Software is free to download and use (freeware). Some features need a free account, and some need a paid Premium plan (freemium). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use.
2. What you may not do
- Sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, or distribute modified copies of it.
- Remove or change copyright notices, the name or the branding.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except as far as the law expressly allows this despite this restriction.
- Get around account, plan or usage limits, or use the Software to attack, overload or break into any service.
You may share the unmodified installer files, or links to our official download pages, with others.
3. Your content and other people's rights
You are responsible for the files and links you process with the Software. Only convert, compress or save media that you own, that you have permission to use, or that the law otherwise allows you to download and copy. Follow the terms of the websites you use. Do not use the Software to infringe copyright or other rights. Conversion and compression run on your own device. Link downloads may use our server, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts and Premium
Accounts, plans, payments and refunds are covered by our Terms of Service. Those Terms form part of this Agreement. If the Terms and this Agreement conflict about the Software itself, this Agreement applies.
5. Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. The Windows app keeps its bundled download helper up to date automatically. Updates are covered by this Agreement unless they come with their own terms.
6. Third-party components
The Software includes open-source components under their own licences, which this Agreement does not change. They include Electron and Chromium (MIT/BSD), FFmpeg (LGPL/GPL), yt-dlp (Unlicense), Deno (MIT), Capacitor (MIT) and AndroidX (Apache 2.0). Their licence texts ship with the Software (for example LICENSE.electron.txt and LICENSES.chromium.html in the Windows app). Source code for the LGPL/GPL components is available from their projects, or from us on request.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can close your account at any time on the account deletion page.
8. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party websites can change at any time, so link downloads may stop working. Keep backups of your original files.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, LAS G Concept is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or files, arising from use of or inability to use the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you break this Agreement. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the Software (see how to uninstall). Sections 3, 6, 8, 9 and 11 continue after termination.
11. Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of your own country.
