How to uninstall LAS Converter

Uninstalling the app does not close your LAS Converter account. To remove the account as well, use the account deletion page.

Windows (portable app)

The Windows app is a single portable file (LAS-Converter.exe). It has no installer, so it does not appear under Settings > Apps and there is no uninstaller to run.

  1. Close LAS Converter. If it is still running, end LAS Converter in Task Manager.
  2. Remove LAS-Converter.exe from the place you saved it (usually your Downloads folder or the Desktop), plus any shortcut you made to it.
  3. Remove the app data folder. Press Win + R, type %APPDATA%\las-convert and press Enter, then go up one level and send the las-convert folder to the Recycle Bin. The full path is C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\las-convert. This folder holds your settings and sign-in, the app logs (las-debug.log, logs\), the browser cache and the auto-updated download helper (yt-dlp).
  4. Optional: press Win + R, type %TEMP%\las-convert and remove that folder if it exists. It only holds temporary work files.

Files you converted or downloaded (saved in the folder you chose, by default Downloads) are yours, so they are not removed. Remove them yourself if you no longer need them.

Android

  1. Open Settings > Apps (on some phones Apps & notifications > See all apps).
  2. Tap LAS Converter, then Uninstall, and confirm with OK.

Or touch and hold the LAS Converter icon on the home screen or in the app drawer, then tap Uninstall (or drag it to Uninstall). Android removes the app together with its settings, sign-in and cache. Files you saved to shared folders such as Downloads, Movies or Music stay on the phone. Remove them in your Files app if you want.
